Salami salad 1

I love salami. I love pasta. I love red onions. I love provolone cheese. Everything I love is pretty much all in this delicious pasta salad. This is a recipe from a family friend and any time I take it anywhere, I am always, always, always asked for the recipe. It is a little more “manly” than your average pasta salad, but is still very suitable for a female audience as well.

Salami Pasta Salad

  • 1/2 lb. farfalle pasta
  • 1/3 lb. genola salami
  • 1/4 lb. provolone
  • 1/2 c. diced red onion
  • 1/4 c. pepperoncini
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 1/2 t. oregano

  1. Cook, rinse, and drain pasta.
  2. Chop salami, provolone, red onion, and peperoncini, then mix with pasta.
  3. Pour oil, vinegar, salt, and oregano into a small bowl. Mix and then drizzle over the pasta mixture.
  4. Tastes best when it has some time to "marinate", so it's best if you make it in the morning to eat later that day, or let it sit overnight.
