This recipe is a family favorite, and great for the New Year when we are trying to cut down on the fat and recover from the holidays. 🙂 It is fantastic alone, but would also be great cut up on a salad. You could easily sub chicken tenderloin for the chicken breast to make it even easier to cut up. Or, we have made blackened steak before and that is also VERY delicious.
- 4 Chicken Breasts (or Steaks)
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Accent (could omit if sensitive to MSG)
- Put all of the ingredients into a gallon-sized ziploc bag. Marinate around 30 minutes for chicken and at least an hour for steak.
- Cook on the grill or broiling pan in the oven. Easy peasy! 🙂
